Pastor John Collins: Revival and Truth-I wasn't always a Christian

Pastor John Collins, Evangelist.

Pastor John Collins, continuing the message of Hope and Trust.

Pastor John Collins continues to deliver a message of Hope and Trust across the United States through his revivals.  God and Jesus play a very central part in Pastor John Collins’ life.  His experiences with God have changed his life, taking him to churches across the United States, bringing God back to congregations.

Pastor John Collins preaches in a manner that people understand.  He does not talk above your head: he doesn’t use big words or elaborate sermons to get his point across to the audience.  He is very down to earth and humble; he appreciates the pain of the human condition

Pastor John Collins is not afraid to preach the truth.

Pastor John Collins shares that so many pastors, ministers and preachers have stepped away from teaching and preaching the whole truth. Most will preach of God’s love and heaven, few will speak about the choice between heaven and hell, the fact that eternity is real, and that what we do here in our choices of everyday living effect where we will spend eternity.  Few will talk about the wrath of God, padding their sermons with delicate descriptions of God and His love and avoiding the truth of the whole story.  Pastor John Collins is not afraid to preach the truth.

Pastor John Collins takes a stand on heroin and other drug addictions.

Pastor John Collins has taken a stand against drug addictions.  Having first-hand experiences with people who have addictions to heroin, Pastor John Collins will go to the extreme to help someone get help when they decide that the addiction has to go.  Heroin addiction is an epidemic in many areas of the United States.  Pastor John Collins has preached that it tears families apart, that it is time to take a stand to help alleviate the heroin addiction epidemic.

Pastor John Collins is biblically correct.

Pastor John Collins is not politically correct.  He preaches that Jesus was not politically correct, that the Holy Bible is not politically correct, and that in order to be a Christian, one must do their best to be biblically correct.  Pastor John Collins believes that the Holy Bible is 100% accurate and is a guideline to use in day to day living, honoring and worshiping God and Jesus.  Political correctness does not buy your way into heaven.  Biblical correctness does.  Where we end up is the important issue that so many pastors avoid talking about, and as a result, we don’t know what it takes to get into heaven.

Pastor John Collins, Evangelist of Love That Cross Ministries spoke about his journey to becoming a Christian.

Pastor John Collins says:

“Hello and welcome.  My name is Pastor John Collins.  I would like to take a moment and tell you a little about myself.  I was not always a Christian.

I had lived a life of sin and had no intention of becoming a preacher.  I did not find God, He found me.

I was a man who loved money and all that it could buy.  I enjoyed living my life for me.  I am now a man who lives his life for God and my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  I am committed to living the Word as well as preaching the Word.  I believe in helping your neighbor.

I believe in doing what is right and helping another in need whenever you can.  I believe in teaching the Old Testament as well as the New Testament.  “Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill.”  Matthew 5:17.  The New Testament does not replace the Old, it fulfills it.

We are living in a time when being a Christian is not a good thing.

To tell someone that you are a Christian is to bring on skepticism and disdain.  There are many greedy and self-serving preachers that are responsible for that.

There are many preachers that teach people wrong and also teach them to want what they themselves want, which is money.

I am not here to get rich.  I am here to help you build your faith, get salvation and go to heaven.
We can do that together by loving one another and helping our neighbors.  I know that corrupt preachers need to be stopped and we need to work to make the Christian faith one of respect again.

I am here to speak the truth and teach the word of God as it was meant to be taught.  I am here to walk the walk and talk the talk.  I serve God and my Lord Jesus Christ.  I am thankful that they have come into my life and given me the truth.

They have given me a passion for righteousness.  They have saved me and I want the same for you.  I hope that you enjoy my sermons and if you ever need to speak with me, do not hesitate to contact me and leave me your number.

May God bless you and yours.

Love That Cross, Pastor John Collins.”

Pastor John Collins brings back God.

Pastor John Collins, Evangelist, is a humble preacher.  He believes fully in God the Father, and in Jesus Christ who is our salvation and our Hope.  It is fully his desire to preach the truth of the Word, to preach the Hope of the Word, and to bring as many people as possible back to God.  He fully believes that there is hope, and that God wants each and every one of our souls back with Him.  Pastor John Collins works hard to teach people to understand the love of God and the consequences of our choices here in this life.  Everyone deserves a chance to hear the truth of God, both in the United States and across the world.  We all have fallen far from the salvation of the Cross and the teachings of Christ over 2000 years ago.  God wants us back, as many of us who will choose to believe in Him and come back, like the prodigals we are.  Pastor John Collins is there to answer your questions.

There are multiple recordings of Pastor John Collins’ sermons on Blog talk Radio and posted on YouTube.  Take some time today to turn back to God and listen to what Pastor John Collins preaches through the links provided.

As Pastor John Collins said, “May God bless you and yours.  Love that Cross.”

John Collins, Evangelist and Pastor: Jesus-Driven to Give

Gifts of the Father

Pastor John Collins is spreading the Word of the Gospel across the United States through his newest revival tour, Hope and Trust.

Pastor John Collins, Evangelist with Love That Cross Ministries and John Collins’ Ministries recently preached:

Now My soul is troubled, and what shall I say? ‘Father, save Me from this hour’? But for this purpose I came to this hour. ‘Father, glorify Your name.’ Then a voice came from heaven, saying, ‘I have both glorified it and will glorify it again.’ Therefore the people who stood by and heard it said that it had thundered. Others said, ‘An angel has spoken to Him.’ Jesus answered and said, ‘This voice did not come because of Me, but for your sake.’” John 12:27-30 (NKJV).

Jesus grew up knowing the duty and responsibilities that He had been given. He knew what would come and He lived with an awareness of what was to be gained. He did not live with His own needs and wants but with those of His Father’s. Jesus was driven to give as He had always seen God give.

It is so clear that Jesus wanted those He encountered to understand the gifts that came from the Father. He wanted them to know that God was reaching out to them. He often pointed out that certain things were done for the benefit of others. Jesus did not need the reassurances that we need and did not lack the understanding that we do.

I believe that we often take too much of life for granted. We should slow down and look up. We should stop in our tracks and pray. Jesus was mindful of God always and was mindful of His impact on our souls. Jesus cares for us and wanted only the best for those that He ministered to. His life was full of determination for all of the right things. We have so much to learn from Him and we have so much be thankful for.

If there is one thing that you can do for yourself in your daily lives, it is to take the time to connect with the Lord. You should be seeking the opportunities to quiet your lives and to become more aware of God. You should think about what you have done in your life and what you want to do. But do this according to the gospel of Christ and see where that takes you.

God has always done things to reach us and has always provided a way home. God has given us His Son and we should take note of the character of Jesus so that we can learn from Him. Jesus pleased God in every way and we should seek to do the same. It is possible for us to have the commitment to God that Jesus displayed by choosing to follow our Lord.

Let us be aware of the efforts of God and Jesus and let us respond to their love. Let us be honest with ourselves in our lives and be willing to sacrifice for our eternal souls. Let us become more faithful people who choose to pay attention to the things that are above over the things of this earth. Let us praise God for His consideration and selfless love.

“Now is the judgment of this world; now the ruler of this world will be cast out. And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all peoples to Myself.” John 12:31-32(NKJV).

LOVE THAT CROSS, PASTOR JOHN COLLINS

Pastor John Collins is a leading evangelist in the United States today.

His vibrant, no nonsense style of preaching brings the Word of God, the teachings of Jesus to life.  He reaches the hearts of those who hear him.

Pastor John Collins strives to bring God back to the United States.

He often preaches that we as a country turned our backs to God, one person at a time, one church at a time.  It’s time to change that and bring God back into our lives, to bring hope to ourselves and to our country, one person at a time, one church at a time.  Through our own choices to serve our own will, not God’s, we as a whole have turned away from God.  The result is that our country is in the turmoil it is in now.  As the Holy Bible says, if we turn back to God with all our hearts and cry out to Him, He will hear our plea and heal our country.  More than ever, we need God.  Pastor John Collins is answering his call by God to bring the gospel to as many people as he can reach with the words that he preaches.

Pastor John Collins’ revivals speak to the issues that we face in the United States.

We have turned our backs to God, taking Him out of our schools, our government, our families and our churches-and as a result our society is hurting badly for hope.

Pastor John Collins preaches hope, and the salvation of Jesus Christ, seeking to bring souls to Christ through his revivals and his messages.

As Pastor John has said, we need to take the time to connect with God and with Jesus Christ and bring our souls back to the Cross, bring ourselves back to our God who loves us so very much.
He is waiting for us to make that choice, to hear the words that were preached and taught by Jesus Christ, to humble ourselves so that we can be forgiven by Him and be blessed by Him.  Our struggle in this life doesn’t have to be done alone, wasn’t meant to be carried alone, we can’t do it alone.  Jesus is there for us to handle the problems we face every day, and Jesus is there as the Hope for tomorrow.  All we have to do is believe and ask forgiveness, then continue to work toward being Christ-like everyday.  Yes, we will all fall down and trip ourselves with mistakes, but that Grace that is offered by God through Jesus saves us.

John Collins, Pastor and Evangelist says: “Hope is like sunshine, everyone needs a ray of it.”

Come stand in the ray of hope that is Jesus Christ.

Pastor John Collins, Evangelist: Do you NEED it or WANT it?

Pastor John Collins, Evangelist, Montana Tour of Love That Cross Ministries: How much do you really need?

In the fall of 2016 a revival series was launched in Montana.  Traveling across the United States, Pastor John Collins, brings a fresh view of revival of the Gospel and faith.

Pastor John Collins is a leading evangelist in the United States today.

Excerpts from Pastor John Collins’ revivals speak to the issues that we face in the United States.

We have turned our backs to God, taking Him out of our schools, our government, our families and our churches-and as a result our society is hurting badly for hope.

Pastor John Collins preaches hope, and the salvation of Jesus Christ, seeking to bring souls to Christ through his revivals and his messages.

Pastor John Collins says:

“Then Jesus said to His disciples, ‘Assuredly, I say to you that it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven.  And again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.’”  Matthew 19:23-24 (NKJV).

How much money does it take for a person to be considered rich?  How big does their home need to be?  How much does their car need to cost?  And how much clothes and how many pairs of shoes does a person need to own in order to be considered rich?  What about computers, cell phones and other pricey conveniences of today, are these considered when thinking about wealth?

We live in a world that has created generations of entitled, demanding and unsatisfied people.  Does anyone even know the difference between what we want and what we need today?  You may want a new car, a big house, plenty of changes of clothes and shoes as well as a phone and all the toys that are available today.  You may want to eat filet mignon and drink fancy coffee in the morning but do you need it?

Do you need closets full of clothes?  Do you ever think about the huge difference between your wants and your needs?  Take a minute to look around you and ask yourself if you even need what you already have and then ask yourself if you are wanting more.

God will provide what you need.  God will test you to see if you can be content with those needs being met.  In a world of excess it is necessary to stop for a moment and find some Godly perspective.  We have been raised to believe that more is more and that more will make us happier people.  It is also a misunderstanding to believe that our existence is a pursuit of happiness.  That is just not true.

Genuine happiness comes from living a life that is of service to our Lord which will result in entry to heaven which is where the true prize awaits your soul.  The goal is to make it home to heaven and the only way to meet that goal is to become Christ-like and serve God with submission and joy.  Life is full of bonuses and huge rewards but having a lot of stuff is not one of them.  Some people do have great wealth in this life and believe me that is a test of its own.  Learn to be content with your needs being met and learn to be a great servant.  This will produce a life that is truly rich and will leave you satisfied and at peace.

“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth, nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”  Matthew 6:19-21(NKJV).

  PASTOR JOHN.

Just how much “stuff” do we really need?  Jesus taught us to care for those who were widows and orphans and the poor.  Today’s poor live on the streets, are our elderly, single parents living with children and struggling to keep it together.  Food, shelter, clothing, safety are at risk for those who do not have enough.  So many of us in the United States live in our cushioned homes, complaining about too many channels of nothing on cable, while there are those who don’t even have decent shelter to sleep in.  Look around you where you live.  Women hide the fact that they are struggling or living in their vehicles.  People are proud and don’t admit they need help, especially in small towns where opinions kill reputations of those who are trying hard to succeed against terrible situations that keep knocking them down.  Instead of moving to the other side of the street, driving past, walking by, or simply turning our eyes down or away, Pastor John puts it right in front of us to reach out and give a hand up to those who need it.  Do we have clothes that can fit the woman who is on kidney dialysis and lost 60 pounds and her clothes fall off of her because she doesn’t have money to buy even used clothes?  What about the guy who had his bedding stolen by another homeless guy for the sixth time this month?  Is there a spare sleeping bag in your attic?  Food….no one in this country should be hungry….nor should anyone who is hungry be turned away from a soup kitchen, a church, a mission.  Everyone should have the opportunity to have something to eat.  We are so out for ourselves in this country…the me generation has spread far and wide.  Look out your window, reach out to those who are in need.  Jesus Christ taught it, Pastor John Collins reminds us.  We need to act like the Christians we say we are.
